1. Red Dead Redemption 2

You knew this open world western would be on here. The Red Dead Redemption 2 release date is 26 October. You can get it on PS4 and Xbox. PC gamers have to wait a little longer. No official PC release date has been announced yet, PC gamers will probably get a date very soon. The gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been greatly enhanced. We really like the selfie feature: you can now take pictures of yourself with an old fashioned camera. Oh, and your horse has a lot more tricks up his sleeves now too. But it doesn’t stop there. The main character Arthur Morgan can swim - although he doesn’t seem to like it very much. The Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer looks really promising with a total of 32 players. Imagine all those cowboy hats flying through the air! The graphics look great and we can’t wait to explore a new open world in the wild wild west. Pre-order Red Dead redemption 2 now with a Game Voucher.

2. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

You can always count on Ubisoft to create another Assassin’s Creed game and in this one, the Roman empire get’s the Assassin’s Creed-treatment. The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey release date was 5 October for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

We’ve picked this game for our top 5 for several reasons. Number 1: an Assassin’s Creed game will always deliver quality and some brand new features. Because Odyssey is set in the roman era, you will also be able to fight grandiose battles. Imagine a battlefield of 150 soldiers versus 150 of your best men, all fighting one another at the same time. The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay has also been blessed with large sea battles, a favourite gameplay mechanic of Assassin’s Creed fans. But don’t worry, it’s still a game for assassin’s. You will do enough sneaking around, killing silently and freerunning your way through ancient Roman cities. Check out the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey trailer below if you’re not yet convinced by my words.

3. WWE 2K19

This might be the biggest surprise on our list, but hear us out. The WWE 2K19 release date was the 5 October. The game came out with a flashy bang (for secret and open WWE-fans) for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The WWE 2K19 roster looks better than ever. Randy “Macho Man” Savage, Andre the Giant, Rey Mysterio, Batista, John Cena and the list goes on and on and on. Of course, the WWE 2K19 gameplay has been improved as well. The number of fighters that can be in a fight at the same time has been raised from 6 to 8. That’s WWE Mayhem for you. Did you know the steel cage got remade as well for more entertaining matches? Well, now you do. New movesets and attacks, plus a payback system which lets you make a dramatic comeback when you’re on the losing side. Time to step into the ring. Get this game quickly with a Game Voucher.

4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

The game that hordes of Call of Duty fans have been waiting for. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has been released on 12 October for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Some people might have already played the beta version and know every single detail about the game, but for those who don’t: We got you covered. Expect a totally new and exciting single player campaign that won’t take up too much of your time, because Call of Duty has always been about the multiplayer. The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer is revamped and improved with a totally new mode called Blackout. You have to survive and eliminate other players in the largest Black Ops map ever created. You will also receive three zombie adventures when you buy the game (so you don’t have to buy DLC for some zombie-shooting-fun)! Check out the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 trailer below if you need some more convincing.

5. Forza Horizon 4

Perhaps the best racing game available for the Xbox One and PC right now. The Forza Horizon 4 release date was 2 October (you could have played the game a bit sooner when you pre-ordered it) and it might be one of the best looking games out there, period. The Forza Horizon 4’s location is historic Britain and bloody hell, this country looks so damn good. We knew this country was beautiful, but racing a car through the snow (dynamic seasons!) was never this delightful. You can play this game in an open world where the seasons and your races change. The Forza Horizon 4 car list is also very extensive: you can unlock up to 450 cars. If you own an Xbox or PC and love a good racer: get a Game Card and buy Forza Horizon 4.
