Top 3 films

1. Read Player One
2. KSI: Can’t Lose
3. Peter Rabbit

Step into a technological utopia with Ready Player One, where teen Wade uses OASIS - a virtual platform - to step into a new world. Strap in and escape reality... if you dare. KSI: Can’t Lose is a documentary based on YouTuber KSI’s journey to the well-watched boxing match (millions tuned in) between him and Joe Weller. The film has been positively received and reviewed by fans and critics. Released just before his next boxing event, it gives fans a proper insight into KSI’s training and what went on before the match. It can’t be much more different than that, with the animated movie Peter Rabbit. A more light-hearted film for children, based on the classic 20th century children’s books by Beatrix Potter, but modernised for today’s times. Not necessarily for the purists, but certainly fun for the little ones.

Top 3 Books

1. Now You See Her - Heidi Perks
2. The Secret - K.L. Slater
3. This Is Going To Hurt - Adam Kay

Now You See Her by Heidi Perks. Charlotte’s is looking after the daughter of her best friend who goes missing due to her fault. What follows is the thrilling story on a missing girl, and the secrets that come up in the search for her. The Secret by K.L. Slater is, as the name suggest, also full of secrets. Secrets that bring turmoil to the characters and damage their relationship - twists and turns you’d never expect are to be expected ;). Of a different nature is Adam Kay’s This Is Going To Hurt. Based on the diaries of a Junior doctor, it provides a look behind the screen of hard work, crucial decisions, and lots bodily fluids and injuries. Still, it has been massively popular since its publication.
