What Rockstar Has Actually Confirmed
• GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
• It is a single-player experience at launch, as Take-Two confirmed in June 2026.
• You play as Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the series' first female lead, in the state of Leonida, home of Vice City.
• There are two editions. In the UK the Standard Edition costs £69.99 and the Ultimate Edition £89.99.
• Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 and digital pre-loads open on 12 November 2026.
• Buying before 20 November gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack.
The Rumours That Will Not Go Away
Cross-play between PS5 and Xbox? Not confirmed. Rockstar has never said a word about it.
A PC version in 2027? Not announced. That date comes from analyst guesses, not from Rockstar.
A map twice the size of GTA 5? Rockstar has not published a map size.
GTA Online 2 on launch day? No new online mode has been announced. Take-Two says the current GTA Online stays.
