Launched in 2017, Homescapes has quickly gained popularity and it’s among the top downloaded games on the Google Play store in Europe. The game is free to play, but you can purchase exclusive items, extra levels or stars to help you along the most challenging levels.
The easiest way to purchase in-game items is with a
Google Play gift card or an
App Store & iTunes gift card (depending on the device you’re using). Here’s how that works.
Just like Gardenscapes, Homescapes is a mobile-only game, so you’d need to download the Homescapes app first. It’s free and you can find it on both the App Store and Google Play Store. To access additional decor items, stars, or levels in the game, you can make in-game purchases. Keep your spending in check by using a Google Play gift card or an App Store & iTunes gift card to pay within the game.
There are two ways:
- Before redeeming your Google Play gift card.
You don’t need to redeem your Google Play gift card before you use it to buy items in Homescapes. You can also redeem it during the payment process itself. Simply select the items you want to buy and click on Gift card as a payment method. You will then be prompted to enter your Google Play gift card number. Done? You can now go back to reviving your family mansion!
- After redeeming your Google Play gift card.
As soon as you buy your Google Play gift card online, you can redeem it in the Google Play store. Redeeming makes your gift card value immediately available as Google Play balance. To buy items in Homescapes with it. all you need to do is select Google Play balance as your payment method during checkout.
To make in-game purchases with an App Store & iTunes gift card, you need to redeem it first. You can do that in the App Store. Once your gift card value is added to your Apple ID balance, it will be used up first when you make purchases. Once your Apple ID balance is depleted, your default payment method will be used (e.g. the credit card you’ve linked to your Apple ID).
